Q.  What do you charge for pre-marital or couples counseling?
$160 per 60 minute hour applies.

Q.  Do you accept insurance?
A.  Laura Niewald is a participating provider in the BlueCross BlueShield network.   Outside of those health plans, Ms. Niewald is considered a 'fee-for-service' provider.  'Fee-for-service' means the client pays at the time of the appointment and then the client submits documentation for reimbursement from their insurance plan (when applicable).

Q.  Do you supply the insurance documentation?
A.  Yes.  Clear Day Counseling equips clients with the basic form necessary to request reimbursement from insurance.  However, all insurance plans are different and you are responsible for meeting the requirements of your plan.

A.  Yes.  We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.  We also accept Visa debit cards. We also accept ApplePay or Venmo.

Q.  How long is a typical session?

Q. Do you see clients virtually?
A. Yes. Some clients prefer telehealth options and for this reason I am available for sessions online.

Q.  Do you do premarital counseling?
A.  Yes.  Laura Niewald is a certified PREPARE/ENRICH counselor, making her uniquely qualified to work with couples as they prepare for marriage.

Q.  Do you work with whole families?
A.  Yes.  Laura Niewald is a licensed marriage and family therapist.  LMFT's are trained to work with, identify and address issues that impact the family system.  Laura is licensed through the state of Minnesota, and she is a member of the Minnesota Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, as well as the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. Depending on the situation, Laura may recommend and facilitate the PREPARE/ENRICH family assessment and follow-up sessions for 'Building Strong Families'.

Q.  Do you work with individuals?
A.  Yes.  Laura is especially adept at working with individuals and establishing therapeutic goals to insure productive outcomes.  Therapy is not a forever-process.  It is a short or long-term commitment designed to produce results.

Q.  Do you ever make house calls?

A.  There are certain instances where an off-site visit is required.  In these situations travel time is billed as part of the session fee.
